My name is Pamela, an official tour guide born and raised in Rome...then an "original" roman guide!!
Since I was in high school my favorite subject was Art History and studying foreign languages has always been my passion.
I grew up playing in the alleys of the city center and thanks to my grandfather's stories I developed a strong passion for art and architeture of Rome and, over the time, for its appearance and traditions before the election as capital of Italy.
Thus, I started studying the "modern" side of Rome and now, my tours held not only in the very center of Rome, but also into all those neighborhoods built between the late nineteenth and the early twentieth century.
And last but not least... I'm a professional runner, we can visit Rome even...running!!!
Being a tour guide is not a job: it's passion, knowledge, smile, empathy.

Our personal tour guide, Pamela, was fantastic. It was like having our own personal Art History professor describing each piece of art. It was well worth the money to have a private tour, just my son and I, rather than being part of a group of 20 or so. And skipping the line is the only way to go. When we finished, there were 100s in a line in the rain waiting to get in.
It was my families first time visiting Europe/Rome. Visiting the Coliseum has been a lifelong bucklist location and Pamela brought it to life for us.. she provided amazing details and facts while keeping us on track and entertained. I will be recommending her to my friends who will be visiting Rome soon!
Our tour guide Pamela was absolutely fantastic. The best guide we have had in any tour on any trip we have ever taken. This was such an elevated experience. Hard to quantify the difference btw doing it this way and going solo. She was in a league of her own!

Wow, what an amazing tour! I highly recommend doing private tours around Rome, especially the Vatican. Our guide was Pamela Cavino, who was the best guide we could have asked for. We got to skip all the lines, and she expertly guided us around. She was so knowledgeable about everything and brought history to life. My girls are still reciting the things that she told us. This was by far the best visit to The Vatican Museum and Saint Peter because of our guide Pamela! She had so many stories to tell and we learned so much during our visit. Supremely excellent. Highly knowledgeable. I've used them for three different guided tours in Rome. Beyond all of the fascinating details within the tours, our guides definitely tailored the visits to the interests of the group and offered suggestions to expand our enjoyment of Rome. All times I used them it was either semi-private or private tours and I feel they were well worth the money. Michela and Pamela were our guides (not both at the same time).

Pamela was wonderful. She is so knowledgeable about history, art, religion, and architecture. Skipping the lines helped a lot but it was Pamela who make the tour really incredible. We had a private tour with Pamela covering the Colosseum and Roman Forum/ancient Rome in September 2019. Pamela is a native of Rome, and her passion for her city shows. She made our tour fun and informative. She brought several guide books that showed how the ancient ruins would have looked in ancient Rome. Pamela is an expert at navigating the city and in bypassing the long lines by using advance reservations/special entrances. She was able to answer questions thoroughly and recommend additional activities in Rome. Highly recommended for a very personal experience!
