About Mirella M.
Hi, I’m Mirella, a trained archaeologist who has spent most of her life studying the traces, stories, and rhythms that shape a place. When I moved to Milan, I slowly fell in love with its unique charm: the quiet elegance of its streets, the layers of history hidden behind façades, the understated beauty that reveals itself only to those who know where to look. Over the years, Milan has become not only the city where I live, but a place I genuinely enjoy sharing with others.
What I love the most about guiding is the human side of it. I enjoy communicating, exchanging stories, and encountering people from all over the world. I like to think of myself not just as a guide, but as a local friend who opens the door to a city made of history, habits, curiosities, and daily life. For me, guiding means transforming facts into emotions, giving context, and helping guests truly see what is around them.
Being a tour guide is an opportunity to bring together my archaeological training and my passion for people. It means offering clear historical insight while keeping a warm and personal approach, creating a connection that goes beyond dates and monuments. I always try to tailor every experience to the interests of my guests, making each tour meaningful, pleasant, and memorable for everyone.
My favourite tours are those that allow me to show the many layers of Milan, especially its medieval heart and the parts of the city where history and daily life naturally blend. These are the places where my background as a medieval archaeologist becomes a natural guide, helping guests discover details they might not notice on their own. But, if I have to choose one, I would definitely choose our Last Supper Early Morning Private Tour.
My tours are always built around a balance of history, local culture, and genuine interaction. I like to mix facts with stories, curiosity with context, so that guests leave not only with new knowledge, but also with the feeling of having experienced something authentic and engaging. Whether it is your first time in Milan or you are returning to explore it more deeply, I will be happy to help you discover a city that is rich, fascinating, and full of subtleties.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing with you the Milan I have learned to admire every day.

Reviews About Mirella M.
Our guide Mirata(sp) gave us the best experience. She spoke english well and gave very interesting facts. She was very patient with some of us with disabilities.
We booked a private group tour of the Vatican, as we were travelling with an 80 year old grandmother. Our Guide, Marta, did a wonderful job tending to this special need, and taking care of everything. All the lines were indeed skipped, chairs miraculously appeared at every possible point, and Marta took the lady by the hand at her own pace. We are very happy with the wide and professional scope of the tour, our guide was very knowledgable and passionate about the art and the history. We were especially impressed with the caring manner the tour was conducted. Recommended!
