About Mauro A.
Since I was young, I have always had a strong passion for beauty and art in all their forms. This naturally led me to pursue artistic studies, first at the High School of Art and later at the School of Art and Design. These experiences shaped my creative vision and built the foundation of my professional path.
After completing my studies, I began traveling and accompanying groups to many parts of the world. Over time, I chose to specialize as a tour guide in my city, Milan. Being a Meneghino by birth, a true Milanese D.O.C., I love welcoming guests with professionalism and warmth, satisfying their curiosity and desire for discovery. Guiding has allowed me to share what I care about the most: the pleasure of unveiling the many layers of this metropolis.
Milan is often seen from the outside as an industrial center, but in reality it is a city with countless faces: ancient neighborhoods and modern skyscrapers, wide elegant avenues and hidden small streets, historic palaces beside cutting edge architecture. Every corner offers a new story, and every time I walk through the city with travelers, the light and atmosphere reveal different emotions.
I consider myself a creative, empathetic, multifaceted, and problem solving person. These qualities help me adapt to the pace and interests of each guest, creating experiences that feel personal, engaging, and easy to enjoy. I love sharing beauty and art with people from different cultures, telling Milan in a pleasant and light hearted way. My passion shines through in every tour, as I reveal a Milan that is magnetic, fun, fashionable, ancient, and futuristic all at once. A Milan full of shades and contrasts, leaving unique memories to take home.
Being a tour guide is a privilege and a joy. I enjoy my work deeply because it allows me to connect with people, open doors to stories and traditions, and present my city through the eyes of someone who truly loves it. History, art, culture, anecdotes, food, fashion, and design all merge into a single narrative that I am happy to share. What matters the most to me is knowing that at the end of the tour, my guests feel satisfied and happy, with a complete and vibrant understanding of this incredible city.
My favourite tours? Our Cenacolo Vinciano Early Morning Private Tour and the Cenacolo Vinciano and Duomo Private Tour are the experiences I cherish the most. They bring together art, spirituality, history, and architecture in a way that perfectly reflects Milan’s soul.

Reviews About Mauro A.
Mauro was an excellent guide who taught us a lot about the history of Milan as well as of the Last Supper, the Duomo, and the Sforza Castle. We did not have to wait in any long lines and the walking was at a nice casual pace.
Our laid-back guide Mauro was very knowledgable. His information made the experience much more memorable. And his calmness was a blessing to our group.
Our family had an excellent experience seeing the Last Supper in Milan, Italy. We had made last minute plans to visit the city and all of the tickets to the museum were already sold out. I was so fortunate to find this company through Viator and booked a private early morning tour which did not disappoint! Booking was easy, it was straightforward to find the museum and our guide and they did not charge us until a few days before the experience. Mauro was our guide and was truly wonderful. He made this already awesome experience so much better with his knowledge and historical information. I highly recommend this experience and this company.
Mauro was great. My family really enjoyed the walking tour. Last Supper is incredible. My wife was amazed at how beautiful the city was.
We had an excellent private tour of The Last Supper with our tour guide, Mauro. He was prompt to meet us, got us through the ticket line with ease and we entered our tour with him in a timely manner. He gave us a thorough history of the church, the area and the painting, that was very comprehensive. We enjoyed our tour and learned so much! Thank you!
Mauro was very knowledgeable! We really enjoyed the relaxed pace and the details he provided during the walk from monument to monument.
When faced with the closure of the Duomo, Mauro pivoted quickly and took me on a scenic tour including the stock exchange, multiple historic churches and exciting sites prior to providing an in depth look at the Last Supper. I highly recommend Mauro!
Mauro was fantastic! He provided great information and answered all of our questions throughout the tour.
