Laura was a wonderful guide. We especially enjoyed the Last Supper. Cost for the tour was expensive but probably worth it since we were unable to obtain tix for the Last Supper.

Our guide Laura was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand. We learned so much about The Last Supper, its meaning and history of restoration. Laura gave us tips on other sights to see and a lovely old world pastry shop Marchesi to visit. We also appreciated going early in the morning before the crowds

Our guide Laura could not have been more knowledgeable and fun to be with on our tour. The tour was well worth it, and we recommend that you try it. Ask for Laura.

We absolutely loved this day at the winery then the restaurant making pasta!! By far, this was the most fun we had in Italy! We had toured for several days and were pretty tired, so our last day in Italy is when when we scheduled this tour and it was definitely the icing on the cake for our time in Italy! First, we had a great driver and we started at the winery - it was so beautiful! We received a nice (short) tour of the facility, where we learned about their wine and olive oil. A family member of the winery, Luka, took time to show us everything and then we were escorted to a beautiful table where we were able to sample several wines with hors d’oeuvres. He brought them out one at a time. It was lovely and so much fun! We ordered olive oil (terrific) and wine (wonderful) to be delivered to our house. Then we drove about 8 min away to the restaurant where we had our pasta making class. Chef Antonio and his team were AMAZING!! We had a blast and actually learned how to make pasta. Chef Antonio was hilarious and really made the process fun. The pasta tasted soooo good too! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to learn about Italian wine and pasta and have fun too!! We LOVED it!! Thanks to Luka and Chef Antonio - we love you guys!! Relaxed but thorough accompanied exploration of the Vatican's main areas. The guide made the tour really interesting and relevant. He could answer all questions. Very enjoyable.

At the end of two weeks of traveling from Paris, Venice, Florance, and finally, Rome, my wife and I had experienced several tours and clearly what can make or break a tour experience is the host. We had the pleasure of being guided by Eleonora from Eyes of Rome. She did a FANTASTIC job of sharing knowledge in a digestible manner, executing pace of the tour, and providing an experience that became unforgettable even with "museum fatigue." If you reserve the Eyes of Rome tour, do yourself a favor and ask for Eleonora! You won't regret it.

Laura was a great guide. She is knowledgable and was very flexible as we asked her to change our itinerary when we met and she was happy to do so. Thank you a great morning.

This tour was a bit pricey, but book it now and don’t think twice! For the five of us, this experience was one of the best, most remarkable things we have ever done (and we travel quite a bit and are lucky to get to do nice things regularly). We were a group of five, including two boys (ages 10 and 12) and a grandma (age 75). Rosie met us at the apartment having arranged transportation to the Vatican. Once we arrived, she managed all the logistics and lines without us having to get involved one bit. Beyond the line and logistic management, though, Rosie created for us an experience we will never forget. With Rosie’s expertise, we experienced the Vatican in a way we could not have imagined, and our boys are still talking about it and wondering if and when Rosie can come visit in Colorado. Thanks to Rosalba and Eyes of Rome for a wonderful time that exceeded every expectation!

Laura is knowledgeable on all things Rome, but particularly the Coliseum and all of the ancient ruins around the area. She is a Professor of History and an archaeologist. We didn't have much time in Rome and wanted to modify our tour to fit the time we had - she did so with ease and such enthusiasm. Knowing your facts is one thing, but she LOVES her city and teaching it to others. IF there was 6 stars she would have earned them! Totally worth the $$

Laura was an excellent guide. Very knowledgable and passionate on all subject matters related to the Vatican, including the art. Excellent at reading her audience and maximizing the 4 hour private tour she gave us.

Laura our guide met our group of five and provided beautiful insight about the history of the sites. We learned a tremendous amount of facts and had many questions which were answered professionally and pleasantly. We had such a good day that we requested and were granted Laura for our Vatican Tour which was scheduled for the following day.

Our Eyes of Rome Tour with Laura Rizzi was an absolute joy. She is one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Her knowledge of the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basillica and St. Peter’s Square is impressive. She was also very familiar with all of the many works of art throughout the tour. She’s little encyclopedia. Her story telling abilities made the entire place come to life. She was thoughtful and considerate throughout the tour. She made the experience a day to remember. My husband and I are so pleased that she was our guide.

Laura our tour guide has great knowledge of the history and architecture of Ancient Rome. She was delightful and guided us effortlessly from site to site and era to era. She answered all our questions and clearly advised on what was fact and what was legend. An enjoyable and informative tour of Rome. We always book a private tour on our first visit to a city. Laura and Eyes of Rome were very professional and the best we have had to date.

My husband and I were in Rome with our 2 children (6 and 10), and didn't want to get stuck in a large tour group that would lose our childrens' interest. Our hotel recommended to go with Eyes of Rome. Laura was our guide.Laura is an excellent archaeologist, and extremely knowledgeable and very well prepared. She was able to get us through faster despite long lines. Not only did she have her iPad to show visuals and provide historic references to particular sites, but she was also able to answer practically all of the questions we had. In addition to having so much knowledge she was a delight to spend time with. She was friendly, energetic, and passionate about her job as she stayed out longer than the schedule originally planned. She wanted to ensure that this was the best experience possible and it showed in how she engaged with us especially with our young kids. Her knowledge of history as well as architecture is truly inspiring and gave my family a totally different perspective when it comes to appreciate art and history. Definitely recommend Eyes of Rome and especially Laura. It was just a fantastic experience!

We did a private Colosseum and Roman Forum Tour with Paola and it was perfect for our group. She is a wealth of knowledge and truly speaks from the heart! She instantly connected with each person in our group and made sure that everyone was comfortable. I loved that she would make sure we were shaded, had water, and was so thoughtful overall about our needs. She shared the beautiful history and opened our minds, hearts, and souls to the beauty of Roman culture and history. Not only did she connect with us on the history of where we were, she gave us helpful hints about traveling and things to watch out for so not only were we safe and taken care of with her, also as we continued our explorations! I highly recommend requesting Paola for any tour you may do with Eyes of Rome. Anyone I know, I certainly recommend her! I can't wait to return to Roma and spend more time with her! Grazie mille!
