Hi, I’m Emanuele, but somehow “Manny” stuck, and honestly, it sounds friendlier. I’ve been telling stories about my city for over 15 years.
My passion for art started in a very unexpected way. Back in high school, I had to make up for a bad grade in art history... and that’s when I discovered Michelangelo was actually pretty amazing. What began as a simple requirement quickly turned into a real passion. From that moment, I was done. No escape. I studied art history at university and somehow turned my obsession into a job.
What I love most is seeing people’s faces when Rome surprises them. That little “wow” moment when they turn a corner, and suddenly there’s a 2,000-year-old temple just casually existing next to a café. Rome does that.
My tours are engaging, relaxed, and fun. Come with me, and you won’t have to worry about what to see or where to go. I’ll take care of everything and make every moment special. And very often, we end with a group photo and a hug, because after walking through history together, it feels weird to just say “bye” and disappear.
Being a tour guide is what makes people want to come back to Rome. I hope so. Because honestly, I only have a few hours with you, but my secret mission is to make sure Rome sticks in your head for years afterward, like a song you didn’t choose but can’t stop humming.
My favourite tour? Hard to choose, but I’ll try.
The Colosseum Underground Private Tour is my absolute favourite, with dark corridors, ancient echoes, and following in the footsteps of gladiators.
The Borghese Gallery Private Tour is my “calm happiness” tour: no crowds, just masterpieces and pure beauty.
The Rome City Center Walking Tour is all about history, legends, and fountains, and it usually ends with a smile on your face and a gelato in your hand.
Not to mention the Ostia Private Day Trip from Rome, which I call “mini Pompeii without the panic” a journey that turns you into an out-of-town time traveler in Ancient Rome.
My tours are for curious minds of all ages and offer engaging stories, laughter, and an unexpected fondness for Rome.

The quality of what you get out of a private tour is worth every penny! Our guide Manny was fantastic. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer and he kept us going at a reasonable pace.

Emanuele is the best. She has an extensive background on Roman history and the Vatican. She presented a colorful story filled with surprises and attention grabbing twists. Time permitting we would have booked another tour with her.

We had a very nice tour with Emanuele. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the subject of our tours and even had a binder of pictures, drawings and renderings of how the Colosseum and Roman Forum looked during their peak. Given his years of experience and Art History knowledge he even had information about subjects that were not technically part of our tour but was more than happy to share with us as we queried him with questions about Roman history and Art. Sometimes guides can move through the tour too quickly to make sure they cover all the topics and subjects, but we never felt rushed and still covered all the major points of interest.. and then some. 10/10 for us. Left at 8am for early entrance into the Vatican museum. Manny made it look easy as we maneuvered through the crowds. He’s got out tickets quickly and off we went. He was so knowledgeable and it showed. This is a must do!

Manny was incredible! Having a private guide who knows so much about Ancient Rome was invaluable! Such a better experience than the large group format. Do yourself a favor and do a private tour. 1000 times better than any group can provide. VIP experience at its finest
