About Elena C.
I was born and raised in Brianza, the hilly area between Milan and Lake Como, with family roots from both Campania and Veneto. This blend of cultures shaped me from the very beginning and, around the age of eight, I first felt the desire to become a guide. I fell in love with Paestum, the homeland of my grandmother, its archaeological site, the sea, the cuisine, and the deep local traditions.
Growing up, I travelled across Italy and abroad with my family, walking mountain trails, visiting villages and cultural sites, and often guiding our relatives or my father’s foreign guests through the places we loved. That constant exchange of stories and perspectives made me understand how tourism could become a bridge between people and a way to give value to lesser-known areas.
My academic path followed this intuition: first a degree in Tourism Sciences, and then a second degree in Landscape and Environmental Geography. Today, my passion for archaeology, history, popular traditions, and landscape interpretation guides everything I share with my guests. I hope to welcome you soon and introduce you to the places I live, convinced that their beauty will resonate with you as well.
Being a tour guide is about creating a connection between people and the land that surrounds them. For me, it means giving context to landscapes, uncovering layers of history, and helping guests experience traditions, stories, and places that often hide in plain sight. It is a way to turn curiosity into understanding and to make every encounter an enriching cultural exchange.
My favourite tour to guide is our Lake Como Private Boat Tour. Here, water and mountains meet in endless shades, revealing new details each time you look. Over the centuries, this crossroads of cultures inspired painters, writers, and musicians, whose works still echo in the elegant villas and spectacular gardens overlooking the lake. Walking through its villages feels like discovering a living canvas shaped by nature, art, and history.
My tours are deeply rooted in the connection between landscape, environment, and cultural heritage. I love guiding guests through sustainable tourism experiences, sharing insights about local traditions, archeology, folklore, and even film locations that shaped the identity of the region. Every tour is built to offer meaning, beauty, and perspective, inviting you to see the territory through my eyes.

Helena was an absolute joy to be with yesterday. The tour layout was perfect and we saw all the major events within the Roman period. Everything was simple from start to finish; Purchasing the tickets, notification two days in advance of the plans and delivery of final details. Thank you and know we will use you in the future for our travel experiences!!!!
Our guide, Helena, was extraordinarily well-versed in her knowledge and history of Vatican City. She used her iPad to explain, with pictures and historic timelines, to give us a more complete understanding of what we were about to see. We greatly appreciated her attention to our needs, age, walking, disability, and points of most interest. This tour was greatly enhanced by her description and response to our questions. It will always be memorable.
Helena was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. She was so knowledgeable and her enthusiasm made the experience that much better. Even though we had been on this tour before., we learned, experienced and enjoy the Vatican as if it were our first time.
My adult son and I decided to visit Rome. Of course we bought a guidebook but decided to arrange a few private tours. Best decision we made! We ended up arranging a tour for nearly everyday. I don’t know about all the guides but the two we had ( Selena and Elisa ) amazing in their knowledge but more than that, they were fun and engaging. Considering all the cost to travel and stay and eat in Rome we felt it was money well spent to hear the story from people who really studied the history. Plus they had some great restaurant recommendations from which we will be dieting for the next month.
