I have a degree in Art History, with a focus on the period between the 15th and 18th centuries. I love everything about my city, and above all I enjoy sharing its beauty, legends, anecdotes, and much more with you.

Our tour with Alessia was fantastic. She was very informative, navigated the massive crowds extremely well, and ensured we had a plan to get home at the end of our tour. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking to go to the Vatican (especially during Jubilee) as there is a lot going on and it can be very overwhelming. We really enjoyed our tour with Alesia. Being picked up from our hotel was very convenient. Once at the Colosseum, we were able to cater the tour to our needs. Alesia was able to answer all of our questions and took pictures for us as well. We only hit the highlights of the Roman Forum but that was due to our preference since the day was very hot. After the Forum, it was a short walk back to the van for transportation back to our hotel. Very easy and worth the cost to us. I would do this again.

We are so glad that we selected Eyes of Rome for our tour. Our tour guide, Alessia, was amazing and set the stage for a great trip. She was so knowledgeable and able to help us visualize how grand the Colosseum and Palatine Hill (personal favorite) were in their hay day. We added a three hour city tour to see Trevi fountain and the Pantheon - along the way she pointed out many sites that we wouldn't have never noticed, like the balcony from which Mussolini gave his speeches, the "wedding cake" building and countless other spots. We can't recommend them, and her, enough - thanks for a day we will never forget in Rome!

Our party of six enjoyed the private tour of the Vatican very much. Alessia was an excellent guide: very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Since it was New Year's Eve, the tour company arranged to pick us up earlier than originally scheduled so that we would be able to see all of the Vatican before its early closing. Alessia expertly led us through the extremely crowded Vatican, and we did not miss a thing. We would not have been able to navigate the day without her guidance. It was truly a memorable tour that we highly recommend.
Outstanding tour for two of us with storyteller, Alessia Rinaldi. Our travel agent booked the Eye's Of Rome Early Bird Tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica and Square on our behalf through Viator. I would highly recommend this tour and tour guide. She is smart, well-spoken, patient, able to answer any and all of our questions, open-minded and honest about the church and its history (the good, the bad, and the ugly). Although it was a splurge, it was indeed money well spent to bypass lines of people - both with and without their tickets - and to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Alessia made our trip to the Vatican a memory we will treasure forever. She was extremely knowledgeable and her passion for art and Rome made the tour very special. She expertly answered all of our questions, she was prompt and professional. She went above and beyond by looking up where my husband's Italian ancestors came from and showing us in the map room. Her knowledge of both the art and the backstory was exceptional, and she made this tour one of the highlights of our trip. Alessia did a very nice job. Excellent English. She walked us through the history of Rome, which ties into the Vatican museums. Emperors and popes and some of the motivations high they did what they did. Our 11 year old has a great time!
Alessia Rinaldi with Eyes of Rome gave us Roman History that was exciting, informative, and fun. The lines were wrapped around the Colosseum. Alessia had our tickets in hand and we had a feeling we were at DIsney World with Fast Passes in our possession. We did not wait for 2 hours to enter - but were inside within 10 minutes. Her explanation of history made us feel as if a Gladiator, lion, tiger or any of the other animals that were housed at the colosseum would appear at any moment. Walking along the paths of the Roman Forum made the history of Cesar / The Gods come alive. She explained the restoration processes and the active excavations that are still in progress. Went on a 3 hour tour of the Borghese Gallery and Gardens with Alessia. She provided us with so much information on the history of the Borghese family and all of the important works of art within the Gallery. She was also happy to answer questions outside of the scope of the tour around general Italian history and also provide recommendations for activities after the tour ended. Would recommend Eyes of Rome to any friends visiting in the future!

Alessia was our private tour guide through the Colosseum, Palantine, Roman Forum, and the Pantheon. It was a 5 hour walking tour. We met Alessia in front of the Colosseum at 8:30 a.m. and from that point we were transported back in history. Alesia's knowledge of the sites was incredible!!
